Tony Gaud – Founder, CEO & Producer
With over 25 years of industry experience, founder Tony Gaud leverages his network of nationally touring comics and proven production expertise to create unforgettable comedy experiences.
Some of his own experience includes being House M.C. at Tampa Improv for 7 years, working and touring with A-list comedians and appearing at major festivals including Ventura, Cleveland, and Oddball Comedy Festival. Tony achieved ‘Regional Contender’ in Comedy Central’s Open Mic Fight and was a Semi-Finalist in Yuk Yuk’s Great Canadian Laugh Off that same year, seen on the Comedy Network. He would later showcase for Comedy Central’s “Up Next” Talent Search.
As an Actor, he has appeared in numerous big brand commercials and promos including: The Melting Pot, CBS Sportsline.com, Hungry Howie’s, TECO, Netflix and Pure Talk Wireless among others. He’s also appeared in Award Winning short films like, ‘The Limbo Kings’, (Telly Awards); ‘Keep Digging’ and the dark comedy, ‘Just One Last Thing’.
As a Filmmaker, Tony was nominated and was awarded for his short film, AnonyMonster, garnering Best Experimental Short –Alternative Film Festival 2023 and Best Experimental Short – Couch Film Festival 2023 . His short film, Peace Bastard, was an Official Selection in 2023 at the Lift-Off Film Festival and at the New York Film & TV Festival in 2016, the screenplay for Peace Bastard, was recognized in a few categories: Finalist, Semi-Finalist, Top 10 Screenplay, Top 5 Short Screenplay ; as well as Semi-Finalist at the Table Read My Screenplay Contest in 2020. Tony has Produced, written and directed several other film projects as well as podcasts and channel content.
The first official project he executive produced for Gaudomatic was an audiobook for the Novel, One More Iris.
